Antonio Lawson is a Native of Fairfield AL. Mr. Lawson graduated from Miles College in 2011, where in 2008 he became a proud member of Gamma Kappa Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
During his matriculation at Miles College Mr. Lawson held numerous leadership position; 2008-09 he served as Vice President of the Student Government Association. In 2009 he was selected to serve as President of the Student Government Association. Mr. Lawson also was the official escort to the 72nd Miss Miles College, Ashley Lidge in 2010.
Mr. Lawson was a proven student leader at Miles College he went on to become the President of the UNCF-Pre-Alumni Council where he took the Council to a higher level of excellence. While serving as President Mr. Lawson create new ways of fund raising that stretched to LaGrange, GA. Mr. Lawson did not stop there he went on to be elected as the Central Regional Director of the National Pre-Alumni Council serving all the UNCF in his region.
After graduating from Miles College Mr. Lawson graduated from Gupton Jones School of Funeral Service in 2012 and the University of West Alabama with a master’s degree in Higher Education Student Affairs Leadership. He returned to Miles College in 2012 as the Assistant Director of Student Activities and Assistant Director of Residential Life and Leadership. Mr. Lawson went on to work for the Social Security Administration in 2014 where he retired in 2020. Mr. Lawson currently serve as the Trio STEM H Director at the University of Alabama AT Birmingham. He is currently the CEO of AL and AG Realtors. As well as the Advisor to the Birmingham Mentor Network/Phi Gamma Rho. As advisor Mr. Lawson has maintained a 100% graduation rate of high school males. Mr. Lawson is also the Assistant Advisor to Gamma Kappa Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
