Carlisha Harris is a Fairfield native and proud Miles alumna, graduating with a Bachelor of
Science in Computer and Information Sciences with a concentration in graphic design as
valedictorian of the class of 2022. As Program Coordinator for the Alabama MBDA Business Center,
operated by Walker’s Legacy, she has been fortunate to leverage her background as a Computer
Scientist to develop an upgraded, streamlined, and technology-driven client intake process. She
leads their digital marketing and storytelling strategy and content through social media channels
and website maintenance. She also plans and executes ongoing business workshops and webinars
collaborating with organizations in the ecosystem to further engage with their clients and continue
developing their pipeline. As a member of the non-profit Women Under Construction Network's
leadership team, she serves on multiple committees, designs a specially curated monthly newsletter
campaign, maintains the organization's website, oversees digital marketing and content for their
social channels, volunteers regularly, and provides direct administrative support to the CEO.
Carlisha's journey is marked by her continuous pursuit of excellence, her unwavering
dedication to empowering others, and her ability to seamlessly blend technology with humanity.
With a bright future ahead, she aspires to start her own graphic design firm that will offer basic
technology classes to the elderly. Beyond the world of computer science and leadership, Carlisha
finds solace in the simple joys of life. Her cherished moments are spent alongside her beloved
Goddaughter, Alayni, and her adored niece, Aubrie
