I am Cleo Deontranice Crawford. A native daughter of Birmingham and a graduate of Ensley Magnet High School. I am also the middle daughter from a family of three girls, the mother of one son who is my inspiration and my motivation, and the aunt to one nephew.
I am a graduate of the class of 2000 from Miles College where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. I am the chairperson of the J. Mason Davis Leadership Society, the only African American affinity group of the United Way of Central Alabama and I am also a member of Women United affinity group for UWCA. I have a strong sense of family values, community outreach, and humility that cultivated during my undergraduate career at Miles. As a proud and humble Milean I firmly believe in the importance of servitude and making my community better not just for myself, but for the generations behind me. I would not be who or where I am today without my education and experiences at thee, dear old Miles.
