Hi! I am Krystal Dennis. I was born and raised in the historic city of Tuskegee, AL. I received my degree in Elementary Education from the best HBCU in the nation, Miles College. I now serve as an educator in our inner city community assisting scholars with achieving their greatest potential. I have been in education for 10 years with a track record of scholar success and academic achievement. I am a published author of two children’s books. One book addresses the deficiencies in handwriting and letter recognition with Black and Brown entry level children. While the other book promotes building vocabulary with Black and Brown entry level children. I enjoy paying it forward by helping other teachers publish their writings and creations as well. I have been the recipient of several educational grants including CBS 42: One Class At A Time Grant sponsored by CBS 42, Chick-Fil-A Birmingham, and One Trust Bank. It is my hope to continue educating our youth and to give back to Miles College Education Candidate program as much as Miles College has been a blessing to me.
