After earning her undergraduate degrees, Ms. Boyce continued her education in science at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, earning a Master of Science in Biological Sciences. As she moved into her career and was exposed to the various disciplines in public health and its impact, she found her passion. She went on the earn a Master of Public Health degree in Health Education and Promotions. She is the Program Manager for the Georgia School Nutrition Program’s Professional Development and Learning team. She believes professional development is the cornerstone of behavioral change and relationship management. She is honored to work in this capacity as it is the perfect collision of her educational curiosities and passion for people, wellness, nutrition, and reducing food insecurity among vulnerable populations. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Boyce is always inspired to create and enjoys the ability to tell stories in multiple ways. Dance changed her vantage point of simple and complex things. It cultivated storytelling in her. A form of quiet expression. A mode of communication; telling stories through movement. She firmly believes in the healing power of storytelling. She is the author of a children’s book, Mom-ME, I am so proud of you! She also founded Naturally Blessed Dance Company, a small network of adult professional, women dancers. She is the owner of HueShade Designs, LLC a custom earring design company inspired by color. Collectively, motherhood has created a beautiful lens through which she experiences life. She is eternally grateful to her two beautiful “reasons” Christopher (17 years old) and Olivia (9 years old) Boyce. They are her greatest blessing and inspiration! Ms. Boyce lives by this mantra: Discipline is the servant of inspiration.
