Candidate Profile
Greetings, I am JaKayla Young, a Junior, Biology Pre-med Major here at Miles College and I am running to be your next Miss Senior. My platform is "S.T.A.R- Strive for excellence, Thrive Together, Aspire to Inspire, Radiate, Reshape and Reflect." My personal philosophy revolves around the quote, "what you plant now will harvest later.”; I feel this quote encapsulates the essence of living with intention and mindfulness. It reminds us that every action, every decision, and every choice we make today has consequences that will manifest in the future. Therefore, I strive to plant seeds of kindness, empathy, and resilience in all aspects of my life.
